Because of the prominence and importance of the health care industry, two Business, Management and Administration Cluster pathways are dedicated to preparing you for medical office careers: Medical Coding and Medical Administrative Services. A special pathway is also dedicated to the legal field.

Whatever course or courses you choose, you’ll learn the latest “best practices” of today’s innovative companies. You’ll experience first-hand the impact modern technology and the latest software can have on your productivity and your efficiency. Teamwork, communication skills and attention to detail will all come into play as you take the first steps toward a rewarding career in business, management and administration.

  • Accounting
    Upon completion, you’ll be prepared to choose employment in an entry-level accounting position or opt for additional training at Tulsa Tech.
  • Court Reporter
    Opportunities in professions which are challenging, prestigious, and essential in today's legal, business, educational, and entrainment settings are awaiting students who learn the computerized steno keyboard and perfect their skills.
  • Legal Office & Project Management Services
    Throughout the course, you will learn legal terminology, legal research, the use of legal forms and documents, filing and calendaring, and basic legal concepts in several areas of law, including family law, criminal law, and real estate.
  • Medical Administrative Services
    Tulsa Tech’s Medical Administrative Services program provides a background in medical terminology, medical coding, basic office procedures, medical office communications, and medical transcription using computer applications.
  • Medical Coding
    As a coding specialist, you will accurately assign codes to patient diagnoses and procedures, which are then used for reimbursement of health care services, research, and medical statistics.
  • Office Management Technology
    Throughout this hands-on course, you’ll experience opportunities for personal growth through assignments that develop leadership skills while concentrating on the mastery of basic office tasks.
